Collecting Vintage Stenso Lettering Sets: The Modern Way To Stencil Letters In The 1950s

Remember Buying "Oak Tag" To Make School Posters Using Stencils?

The days of using stencils for making posters and signs are essentially over since our computers took over that function. I do remember buying "Oak Tag"  paper (poster weight paper) as a child and then laboring with pencils and stencils and then magic markers to create school projects. Truthfully, I'm   glad that part of the creative process has been replaced with more convenient and easier
methods.

Old school and office supplies however are very popular collectibles and this 1950's Stenso Lettering Set wa recently featured at Kelley Street Vintage on Etsy.com
