I though it might be fun to take a look at men's clothing styles from a 1952 Sears Christmas catalog. As you can see plaids and checkered patterns were popular.  Bold primary colors were in style and you could look good in a toasty warm wool casual shirt for $4.95 .Oh those were the days...I miss my  Sears catalogs.
