Decorating With Vintage Tin Boxes

Stacking Vintage Tins

You can create quite a lovely decorative focal point by stacking a variety of similar shaped vintage tin boxes in a pyramid formation.. These tin boxes were once used as gift packaging for cookies, candy and cakes.

Today, many people collect older tins for storage, holiday gifts and home decor.

While very old tins with special calligraphy or graphics can get pricey, there are plenty of tins to be found at flea markets, shops and on-line for a few dollars.

Common themes for tins boxes are flowers, fruits, landscape scenes, children, holidays . famous paintings etc.
